John began his ventures into the artistic realm as a youth sketching and painting all sorts of fantastical creatures and characters imagined from traditional Arthurian lore. After a distinguished career in the United States Marine Corps from the Reagan White House and historical Marine Barracks in Washington, DC to the grand castles of Europe and the islands of Japan he returned to his artistic roots. John graduated from the Art Institute of Dallas with honors as a recipient of the Outstanding Portfolio Award.

He has worked with a wide spectrum of clientele from fields such as entertainment, energy, medical, law enforcement and legal to architectural, telecommunications, engineering and aircraft design to name a few. John has also been involved in projects for a number of high profile clients including a foreign Head of State. He promotes the view that technological advances in the field of graphics are a true asset to the genre only when the results are founded upon traditional artistic and design principals. John's general approach to design could be summarized by the following quotation:

"Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." ~Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

John has enjoyed a successful marriage for over two decades. He and his wife are the proud parents of four wonderful daughters. John remains committed to his local and international charity volunteer work as often as his schedule permits.
